AgriLife Nitrofix®-PD is a biofertilizer based on a selected strain of naturally-occurring beneficial facultative anaerobic bacteria Paenibacillus durus (MCC 0046).
Paenibacillus durus durus is a gram-positive endospore forming bacterium.
Paenibacillus durus is a nitrogen-fixing bacterium often found in soil and in the rhizospheres of different grasses.
It can actively fix about 50 kg/ Ha of Nitrogen.
It is used as an effective seed dressing product and soil inoculant.
AgriLife Nitrofix ®-PD contains endospores of Paenibacillus durus.
Azotobacter chroococum (MCC 0055)
AgriLife Nitrofix®-AC is a biofertilizer based on a selected strain of naturally-occurring beneficial diazotrophic bacteria Azotobacter chroococum (MCC 0055).
Azotobacter chroococum is a gram-negative bacterium.
It can actively fix about 50 kg/ Ha of atmospheric Nitrogen.
It is used as an effective seed dressing product, soil inoculant and foliar application product.

Azotobacter vinelandii is a gram-negative bacterium.

Gluconacetobacter diazotrophicus is a gram-negative bacterium.
This bacterium is specially found in sugarcane roots.
It is an obligatory aerobic nitrogen fixing bacteria that is known for producing acid as a result of metabolic processes.
